Ok. Life is crazy. I'm probably failing art class. All cause of stupid art journals. They're stupid. Plain and simple.

Stupid.

Research on an artist to "broaden our artistic views." I know all I need to know about my artistic view. It's art or it's not. That's how I view things. If it's painted, sketch, doodled, photographed, done on pc...that's art to me. I don't need to see how colors are used to create "overall unity" within a piece. If something is pretty, It's pretty. I don't need to explain why, everyone's views are different.

I remember two years ago in art, we were doing an art criticism. After thoroughly describing the piece (It was called Fish Magic but I cant remember who it was by, maybe Paul Klee but I'm not positive), I ended with my judgement of the piece. I remember saying "Although it is revered as a wonderful piece of art and I've researched what reasons -the artist- created this, I'm not particularly fond of this art piece. I don't find it artistic. It looks like doodles." Which I know is probably very mean, but it was my judgement was it not? My opinion. And I got a seventy on that art criticism. And she wrote a little note underneath my judgement "I thought you'd have more respect and be more intellectual in your judgement Amber." I was like...."WTF?!"

But anyways, I don't like art journals.

Plus I have to finish my daggum self portrait that I've been working on for ages. AGES! And all the pieces I've promised to people. -sigh-

I'm just feeling overwhelmed. And I know I've been putting it off to do the halloween pictures I've done, but, I need something to relax me dangit. I'm stressed. Alot.

My family is once again going through a rough patch with finances and I'm struggling to find a job. I need one. And trying to keep my grades up.

I don't know why I'm venting. But I am.

Oh and I'm probably joining the army. :/ Which means I need to lose weight for the weight requirement. Yay.

That and a lady hit me yesterday. Hit my car. In the parking lot. Of a grocery store. It sucks. I have a dent in my mom's car door. BUT it was not my fault. The security videos show that. And so everyone knows, I didn't know what to do. So I left. Cause she yelled at me saying I didn't see her backing out, though I was already out. Then she drove off. It was emotional. I stressed. I cried. Yeah. haha.

Not really sure what else to talk about.

My to-do list:
1. *wraith11's picture.
2. a birthday picture for a friend. (It'll be poster-size and feature his top 5 favorite Bleach girls at the beach, though he doesn't know.)
3. I want to do bookmarks featuring everyone from Fruits Basket
4. I want to do bookmarks featuring everyone from Ouran High School Host Club
5. I want to do a picture for =Rtalon235 just to thank him for all he's done for me.
6. I need to write an analytical essay on "A Rosse for Emily" by William Faulkner.
7. I need to continue writing Count the Stars.


Those are in no particular order, but the number one and two are definitely where they should be on my priority list.


Oh, and my headaches have stopped!
